Die Friseuse plot
Single mother Kathi walks in good spirits to the hair salon where she has been hired as the new manager over the phone. Once there, everything turns out not to be as good as she had imagined. In fact, it turns out that she does not meet the right 'profile' to be allowed to work there. Kathi, however, has a thick skin, literally and figuratively, and is not going to let it go. She decides to buy an empty shop to open a hair salon herself, but soon finds out that this is no easy task. However, a lack of knowledge, good contacts and money will not stop Kathi from chasing her dreams.

Nice film about a single mother who does everything she can to get a job as a hairdresser. Ooh yeah, and she's a bit on the fat side. Few plot developments, but more of a series of scenes at a pleasant pace. Fairly light in tone with a good balance between comedy and drama. Partly due to the enjoyable lead role of Gabriela Maria Schmeide, this film is otherwise enjoyable.
