Die Erbin plot
Hülya is a young German-Turkish writer. A few years after her father's death, she decides to write a novel about him. To get to know him better, she travels to Damal, the place where her father was born and grew up. She meets the people of his childhood and reconstructs his life there - at school, at home and in the wide landscape around the village. While observing, she arrives at a not always positive image of her father and of the radical events that determined his and her life.
