Die Delegation plot

TV reporter Will Roczinski is found dead in his car on the San Diego Freeway, south of Los Angeles. Photos, tapes and eleven rolls of film are rescued from the wreckage of the car, all from his latest report. The material - raw, fragmented and unprocessed - is highly controversial. It is a document of a tragedy. The naturally skeptical and rational journalist, who specializes in cynical reports about aliens and possible contacts with them and pokes fun at the gullible souls, suddenly appears to notice undeniable signs of contact with extraterrestrials. Convinced that he has found a great theme, he begins his quest for the unknown. After his death, in the evaluation of the residual material, the question arises whether Roczinski really discovered traces of an extraterrestrial 'delegation'...
