Deux Fereshté plot

Ali is a fifteen-year-old boy who lives in rural Iran. He has many conflicts with his strictly religious and abusive father, Hussein. One day Ali meets a shepherd who plays a flute. Ali falls in love with the music and steals the shepherd's instrument. He tells his mother that he would like to learn to play the flute and she sends him to a music school in Tehran.
