Deus Lo Volt plot

A knight returns from the Crusades and, along with his horse, digs, slowly but surely, until death follows. He thinks back to the past. To four women who follow the trail of destruction left by the Crusaders and move from one ruined village to another, looting what is left to loot and thus surviving. In this way they can stay out of the hands of the men who are on the warpath and on whom they take gruesome revenge.
