Destroyer plot
"You'll Always Remember . . . And Never Forget . . . Destroyer"
During World War II, the intrepid and perfectionist Steve Boleslavski comes aboard as a senior crew member of the American cruiser 'John Paul Jones'. Before being called up to arms, Steve was still involved in the construction of this naval vessel. The engineer Steve gives the young crew members a hard and relentless training. This training comes in handy for the crew when they are torpedoed by a Japanese submarine while on patrol. Despite 'his' ship being battered, Steve still wants to save the cruiser and even try to take out the submarine.
