Destination America plot

Corbet St. James comes from a wealthy family and has a regular job. He decides to return to his family and embarks on a journey. On the way, he meets a woman who has been robbed by her husband. Corbet helps her and continues his journey. Later it turns out that his father has been murdered. Corbet needs an alibi and calls on the woman. She does not want to help him because she is afraid of her husband.
