Derûn plot

Marife, who had lived alone for forty years in a mountain house in the Black Sea region, was abandoned by Ilyas, with whom she had fallen in love in her youth, due to an illness she contracted while planning to marry him. This illness was a plan by Yahya, who was secretly in love with Marife, to reveal Ilyas's true nature. While Marife lost her beauty due to the poisoned honey she ate, Ilyas's love with that beauty ended. Ilyas practically fled the place where he lived, while Marife, furious, retreated into seclusion.
