Der Schweigende Engel plot

The young Angelika (Christine Kaufmann), who has lost her tongue in a fall from a tree, meets ballet teacher Syliva (Josefin Kipper). This one wants to turn the silent girl into a dancer. There is a leading role for her as an angel, but that arouses great envy among the other girls. Angelika's brother Andreas (Siegfried Breuer Jr.) is a graphic artist who makes counterfeit money and his criminal companion Kats (Rolf Wanka) uses the unsuspecting girl to distribute the counterfeit bills. When a jealous colleague of Angelika's discovers these inappropriate practices, the dolls are dancing.
