Well hidden from the outside world, the Pentagon has secretly built a radio station in the remote mountains of Sierra Nevada. The crew searches the galaxy for signals of extraterrestrial life. If contact is made at some point, the sensation is complete. An absolute breakthrough for humanity is in the air. The Pentagon demands absolute media silence, but the eccentric billionaire Emmet Shaw - the big money lender of the project - sees his chance to amass world fame.
