Dead Cat plot

'Dead Cat' is an autobiographical film about the artist Yakov Kazhdan, a designer of paper clothes who was famous in the late 90s. Moscow, early 21st century; The student Vasia meets the girl Masha. At first they are happy and happy with what little they have, but soon they are no longer satisfied. The talented Vasia lands a dull job at a marketing agency. His source of inspiration is the wastepaper basket in his office with which he starts designing paper garments. His creations are liked and noticed by the media after which he is invited for a TV program. Together with Masha, he travels all over the country with his paper creations. But when Masha lowers him, he decides to put an end to his paper designs.
