De Wet op het Kleinbedrijf plot

The parable of the eccentric Jacob Savijn who lives in a narrow-minded village. And about Wouter, a boy who is afraid of Mr Savijn, but is also intrigued by him. As a child, Wouter caught Mr. Savijn looking at bulging laundry and satisfying himself. Savijn is under the guardianship of his two icy sisters who exacerbate his desolate existence by constantly humiliating him. Years later, the adult Wouter meets Savijn again. Wouter paints and Savijn takes the opportunity to pose for him naked in the presence of Wouter's beautiful girlfriend Ank, his hunchback friend Leendert and two naive girls.
