Daniel Auerbach plot

Filmmaker Daniel Auerbach lives with his cat in a ramshackle apartment in Tel Aviv. He is broke and struggling with a scenario that should become a testimony to his life. He comes from an ultra-Orthodox Jewish family and became secular at an early age, but has since paid a heavy price for leaving his community. His relatives turned their backs on him, while he became involved in an endless battle with himself that led to many neuroses and obsessions, including sexual ones.
