Crépuscule des Ombres plot

Commander Saintenac is in the midst of a difficult war. He is convinced that Algeria is and should remain part of France. He is not happy with the arrival of a soldier named Lambert who is being protected from Paris. He decides to break it by ordering him to torture the rebel Khaled. One day, Lambert rebels against his commander when he has to execute Khaled. He flees into the desert.
