Controvento plot
Controvento focuses on two women who, in two very different ways, depict how you can arm yourself against the capriciousness of life. The only thing that binds the women together is the fact that they are sisters. Clara (Margherita Buy) is the rationalist. She works as a psychiatrist in a psychological service center in Turin and has completely toughened herself against the unstable outside world both privately and professionally. Her sister Nina (Valeria Golino) is the polar opposite. She avoids everything and everyone in an apparently unscrupulous way, looking in vain for an answer to a question she cannot formulate.
