Continuity plot

A middle-aged couple, living in a small town somewhere in Germany, repeatedly invites several young men into their home to subject them to an inscrutable ritual. It seems as if these men are surrogate sons for the couple and are just a way for them to stay together. Three different Daniels spend the night at the family home. Each of them disappears under mysterious circumstances.
