Conamara plot

Unexpectedly, 35-year-old Berliner Axel turns up in the Irish coastal town of Conamara. He is looking for the Dutch Maria, with whom he had a relationship a few years ago. However, Maria is happily married and has a child, and cannot have Axel around her anymore. Axel decides to stay anyway, and soon the harmony in the family is disturbed.
