Colomba plot
In 1865, the young Orso della Rebbia returns to Corsica at the request of his sister Colomba. Upon his arrival on the island, Orso, who is nevertheless an opponent of blood feud, agrees to avenge his father's murder. The mayor is said to have ordered certain people to kill him. He kills both of his opponent's sons and is arrested. He is now trying to find people who testify that it was a case of lawful self-defense.
