Closed Gates plot

A nurse falls in love with a soldier who is suffering from amnesia. A relationship develops and the nurse secretly hopes that the soldier will never get his memory back, because she is afraid that he will leave her. As they walk around the ward, the hospital president recognizes the soldier. The soldier turns out to be his cousin and is actually a wealthy good-for-nothing, who was responsible for the death of his beloved.
