Choki plot

Naoto Hatano works as a hairdresser in his salon "Hatano" in Wakayama. His wife Kyoko teaches calligraphy in the same building as her husband's salon. Seven-year-old Saki Seto is taught by childless Kyoko, who sees the troubled child almost as a daughter of his own. Ten years later, Naoto gets a call from Saki, whom he hasn't seen for years due to an incident. Kyoko has since passed away. Saki is now an adult and has become completely blind. What happened to her in the meantime?
