Chihi o Tori Ni plot
Sawa is told by her former brother-in-law that her ex-husband is dying. She herself wishes never to see him again, but she decides to send her two daughters to the hospital to say goodbye to the father they never really knew. With a fruit basket (including ironic get well card) and a camera to record his last hours, they leave by train to father's deathbed. But before arriving, they are told that he has already died.
