Chain plot

As the regional character of our environment disappears and gives way to a more general, universal culture, it becomes increasingly difficult to know exactly where you are. Department stores, amusement parks and hotels from all over the world have become a "super landscape". Two women seem to be trapped in this landscape. One is a corporate officer, the other a young drifter.
