Street musician Roop Singh Rathod has to take his father Shambunath to Mumbai to seek medical treatment for a throat disease. Once in Mumbai, Roop takes a job as a singer at the hotel of the wealthy businessman Ajay Narang. The sensitive Roop's life takes a turn when Ajay's only sister, Reshma, becomes completely obsessed with him. However, he has long been in love with Pooja, a doctor by profession. Aye doesn't know that. But when she finds out, she's sickly jealous.
