Carnival Boat plot
"A hardy lumberjack tamed by a showboat girl!"
Big Pine, California. Jim Gannon is a lumberjack whose son Buck slacks off his job over his romance with riverboat entertainer Honey. Father and son have been fighting regularly since then, but their enmity ends when Buck saves his father's life from a runaway rudderless train. Meanwhile, Honey plans to continue on with the riverboat, but decides to stay because of the advances of the villainous woodcutter Hack Logan.
