Caofangzi plot

Based on Cao Wenxuan's novel of the same name. Jiangnan 1962, eleven-year-old Sang Sang is a student at Youmadi primary school, where his father is the headmaster. In addition to the regular curriculum, he learns hard lessons about life through clashes with his father, the various problems of his classmates, the brief romance between teachers Jiang and Bai Que and his own first childhood sweetheart.
