C'est Jamais Loin plot

Christian is married and has one child. He is fascinated by the look of an unknown woman he once met along the road. One day, he decides to leave his family to forge new paths and seek out the lady. When he tries to break open a barricade in the Middle East, he is arrested and imprisoned. His cellmate often receives letters from a woman living on the Dieppe who tells him she has crossed paths with a man she cannot forget.
