¡Buen Viaje, Excelencia! plot

General Francisco Franco (Ramón Fontserè) spends his last days in the Palacio de El Pardo with his wife Carmen Martínez Bordiú (Teresa Berganza) and his family, in the familiar atmosphere of the past. Outside, at some distance from the palace, there is a very different atmosphere; the still suppressed hope for other times, and the longing for a new society, without dictatorship.
