"A priest who falls in love and doubts his beliefs and needs time to understand how he really feels."
After a priest in a New York ghetto gives the last rites to a dead victim, he wants to learn more about his life. He decides to go in search of the killers with his girlfriend. The priest soon discovers that he knows little about the real problems of the people of the city and is faced with a serious crisis of faith.
