"As a prisoner of war it is my duty to escape."
Film about the childhood of the Irish poet Brendan Behan, who is arrested at the age of 16 when he tries to carry out an attack as an IRA member. The judge sentenced him to Borstal, a prison and reform school for young people. Soon he and some other boys prepare an escape.
