Bobby plot
When his mother dies on her 60th birthday, Bobby, who has Down syndrome, has to find a new home. Brother Johannes, who lives with Marc, doesn't like this, unlike his friend, and the middle-class sister Hannelore first has to convince her husband. Rosi, a friend of the family, is committed to Bobby's well-being. When it turns out that caring for Bobby can be financially beneficial, the battle breaks out.
