Blanche plot
An elderly lord of the castle is married to a virtuous young woman who is also loved by his son from a previous marriage. When the king and his page visit her, they both fall in love with her, but the son's jealous attention saves her honour. Nevertheless, the castle lord's jealousy is aroused and, despite the woman's innocence, this leads to tragedy.
