Bergfried plot

An idyllic Alpine village in the 1980s. The 40-year-old Italian Salvatore moves into a room in the hotel, but the locals are suspicious. They don't like the fact that he takes pictures everywhere, takes notes, walks into the houses of people he doesn't know unannounced and turns the women's heads around. With one of the latter, Erna, a love affair develops. However, Erna doesn't know the real reason behind Salvatore's presence in the village. He is looking for the man who shot and killed his mother, his brothers and sisters and his grandparents in 1944 in his Tuscan home village.
