Beauty on Parade plot

"Watch scores of lovelies pitch their curves for the beauty crown!"

Twenty years ago, Marian Medford Woodstock gave up her chance at a Miss pageant title to marry Jeffrey Woodstock. Now she hopes to reach the world of fame and fortune through her daughter Kay. Kay wins a local beauty pageant and is interviewed by journalist Gil McRoberts. He advises Kay to get married and to lead a quiet life with "house, tree, animal". Jeffrey Woodstock is also not really happy with the passion of his wife and daughter and sets an ultimatum to his wife.
