Barbara plot

The young Reverend Poul Aggersoee (Lars Simonsen) arrives in the Faroe Islands to give a special service. There he meets the beautiful Barbara (Anneke von der Lippe), who was married to two pastors, but who died in quick succession. Despite warnings from his environment, he falls for her innocent and immoral charms. When the charming and gallant Andreas Heide arrives on the island, there is a great tension in their love life.
