Banqueroute plot

Nicholas Lanson, a young stock trader, is overflowing with fast money and luxury until one of his risky ventures causes his bank to fail. Everything collapses, even a price is put on his head. His friends turn away from him and he flees, with no real destination. On his flight, he offers a young woman, Charlotte, a lift. She is pregnant, thrown out of the house by her boyfriend, and looking for her lost old lover Julien, who is a police officer in Biarritz. She wants to marry him and have many children.
