Banjir Kemarau plot

The film follows eight couples of immigrants in present-day Singapore. This reveals a great deal about the political and social situation of Singapore, whose flourishing economy is largely dependent on guest workers. The immigrants are not interviewed, but act out scenes from their lives. These immigrants are at the heart of Singapore's success, but are hit hardest when things go wrong.
