Bamboe plot

A gang of thirteen-year-old girls spend their summer days in a bamboo-overgrown corner of the village. The days are sweltering and slow, a soapbox race is the only thing to look forward to. Until a mysterious neighbor shows up and the girls decide to spy on him.
