Autopiloten plot

The paths of four different people who do not know each other intersect on the highways in the Ruhr area, while they are about to cut an important knot in their lives and their dream image about it. There is Georg, a coach of a football club in the Bundesliga, who will be fired if his club does not win the cup match that evening. Dieter is a raging TV reporter, always on the lookout for spectacular news. He has too little time for his son who lives with his ex-wife, but a terrible event causes the two to grow closer. Jörg is a work-a-holic, and as a result he has ended up in social isolation. However, his resignation is imminent. Finally, Heinz is a retired schlager singer, who only performs in vague places. His fans admire him, but he knows better himself.
