Ärzte plot

Doctors Brehm and Heger, who have been friends for a long time, work in the clinic in an East German industrial town. What Heger does not know is that during World War II Brehm was complicit in the death of his son, who was shot as a resistance member. A blackmailer wants to pressure Brehm with this information. In order to prevent this, Brehm tells his friend the truth himself and hopes for forgiveness, but Heger sharply rejects him. Brehm now flees to West Germany. Heger soon regretted his irreconcilable attitude and follows him. The two meet again in Munich...
