Amama plot

"When a Tree Falls"

In a family of the rural Basque Country, Amaia is the youngest of three siblings. A generational conflict erupts when Gaizka, one of the elders who was to take over the farm, decides to go abroad. Under the eyes of her impassive grandmother, Amaia encounters the inflexibility of her father, who lives off the traditions and the unchanging rhythm of the fields. It proves impossible to reconcile because their views on life are diametrically opposed.
