Albert plot

Albert is a talented musician and was once the first violinist of the St. Petersburg opera. He was once a welcome guest in the salons of the rich, but fate has left him an alcoholic and living on the fringes of society. His friend Delesov takes care of him, lets him live with him and appoints the servant Zachar to help him stay off alcohol. Delesov actually thinks he can get Albert's life back on track, but his destructive nature makes this very difficult.
