Against All Hope plot

Cecil Moe is an alcoholic man whose life is crumbling around him. One day, Cecil picks up a phone book, looks up a pastor's name, and calls him in the middle of the night. He then goes to the pastor's house and discusses his problems. The pastor teaches Cecil to respect the word of God and to have Jesus in his heart. After this conversation, Cecil's life takes a turn for the better.
