Adak plot

Film based on true facts about the Old Testament disaster of a young father who, in despair, threatens to sacrifice his baby. The story is interspersed with theological commentary. Müslüm (Tarık Akan) is a hardworking construction worker, married with two children. One day something is stolen from the foreman and Müslüm is accused of theft and ends up in jail. In prison he turns to Islam and promises God that if his innocence is proven, he will sacrifice his son. Shortly afterwards, the real perpetrator is arrested.
