Five years ago, Jan Engel (Sebastian Blomberg) disappeared without a trace. His family hoped they would get a sign of life. Questions arise with his friends Marie (Bibiana Beglau), Frank (Johann van Buelow) and Steini (Alexander Beyer). But Jan has disappeared without an explanation. The image that his family and friends have of him slowly fades and is subject to personal desires. Then suddenly Jan shows up again...
