Zuo Tian plot
A journey back in time with Tsai Ming-liang, one of the leaders of the second New Wave of Taiwanese cinema. Tsai Ming-liang was raised by grandparents who took him to the cinema every day. He believes his childhood has shaped who he has become, although the fighting films he loved as a child bear little resemblance to the artistic productions that have made him one of Asia's most important contemporary filmmakers. Documentary maker Saw Tiong Guan visits the movie theaters of his youth with Tsai.
