Zodiac Killer Project plot

Vacant suburban homes, an abandoned courthouse, a deserted parking lot, dingy archive footage, fake-looking reconstructions, a haunting voice-over, and cops talking about an old case with exaggerated confidence. These are the familiar elements of crime documentaries. Filmmaker and multimedia artist Charlie Shackleton wants to make one about the Zodiac Killer, but he can’t secure the rights to the book on which he wants to base his film. What now?
