Y'a Qu'à Pas Baiser plot

This documentary was made when abortion was still illegal in France. Provocatively, the film alternates images of the first women's demonstration against abortion and contraception in Paris on November 20, 1971, with images of an illegal abortion using the Karman method. The structure of the conservative TV news is also imitated by filmmaker Carole Roussopoulos. By combining the images, the practices are shown not as isolated incidents, but as a collective necessity.
