Wrong Elements plot
In 1989, the young Ugandan rebel Joseph Kony formed his Lord's Resistance Army (LRA). He claimed that the Holy Spirit had come upon him and made the resistance against the government a sacred mission, resulting in tens of thousands of victims. His army was largely made up of children, forcibly abducted and psychologically conditioned to kill. Young girls were used as sex slaves by the commanders. "Wrong Elements" follows Geofrey, Nighty and Mike, three former child soldiers who fled the LRA and are now trying to pick up their lives at home. The three of them travel to the places where they survived in the bush, went on raids to get food and committed the most horrific deeds.
