Wind on the Moon plot
"A story of a mother and a daughter reaching out to each other"
How do you experience the world if you were born both deaf and blind? The now nineteen-year-old South Korean Yeji sees and hears nothing. She can barely communicate. Yeji and her mother have been together all day for years. But now the young woman can finally go to a special school for the blind. This is also exciting for Yeji's mother, because the two seem almost fused together. For example, Mother knows better than anyone that Yeji feels comfortable in the car and that she enjoys weightlessly in the sea. But how do you explain everyday things to someone like Yeji? How do you make it clear to her that you can't just take off your pants, or that fingerprinting isn't scary?
