Where We Belong plot

The parents have separated, the children have been left with their thoughts. Five children of divorced parents are given the opportunity to report what it means to be abandoned by a parent or to have to choose between them. They look back thoughtfully and self-critically, showing an impressive insight into their analysis of not only their own emotional states, but that of their parents as well.
